KEYS - ROCKSCHOOL CURRICULUM
At this level, you should be able to play simple pieces with basic techniques and a good understanding of foundational musical concepts.
Progressing from Grade 1, you'll be expected to demonstrate improved technical skills, rhythm, and musical expression.
By this stage, you should have a solid grasp of more advanced techniques, including scales, arpeggios, and sight-reading, and be able to perform more complex pieces.
Your musical abilities should continue to advance, and you'll be expected to show proficiency in various musical styles and genres.
At this point, you should have a strong foundation in piano playing, with the ability to tackle challenging pieces and demonstrate musical interpretation.
Your skills will become more refined, and you'll be able to perform more demanding repertoire with a high degree of precision.
This grade typically involves advanced techniques, complex musical interpretations, and a deep understanding of music theory.
The highest grade in the RSL Piano exams, you should be able to perform at a professional level, showcasing advanced techniques, musicality, and a deep understanding of music.
